Park 'n Ride Trolley Service to Washington County Fair Offered

Going to the Washington County Fair? Consider taking the trolley!

Experience one of the last places in North America where you can ride a vintage trolley to a county fair!

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington—just a short drive from —is pleased to offer park-and-ride trolley service from the Cooper Crouse-Hinds parking lot every day to the Washington County Fair.

Trolley service will run from 10 a.m. until midnight Saturday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug. 19.

The lot is conveniently located at 2800 N. Main St., Washington, PA 15301, at the corner of Country Club Road. It is both is paved and lit. Round-trip trolley tickets are $2 per person (although kids younger than 3 are free). Riders are taken to the main gate of the fair.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., tickets will be sold aboard the trolleys, which run every 10 to 15 minutes. From 5 p.m. to midnight, trolleys will run every 10 minutes and tickets can be purchased (cash only) at the ticket tent.

In addition, there will also be regular tours of the museum.

Admission rates are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and older) and $6 for children (ages 3 to 15). Kids younger than 3 are admitted free. Admission includes the trolley-era introductory film and exhibits, unlimited trolley rides, a tour of the Trib Total Media Trolley Display Building (which houses nearly three dozen streetcars), and access to the museum store.
