The Meadows Celebrates 5th Anniversary All Month
Did we mention it is giving away more than $2 million in cash and prizes?
will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its casino all this month.
While the official anniversary date is Monday, The Meadows is commemorating the event with more than $2 million in cash and prizes throughout the month.
Las Vegas-based Cannery Casino Resorts purchased the track in 2006. Shortly after, The Meadows was awarded a gaming license by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and broke ground on construction for a temporary casino in that opened June 11, 2007.

“We have experienced tremendous growth in the last five years,” said Sean Sullivan, vice president and general manager of The Meadows Racetrack & Casino. “We are now considered an entertainment destination for south western Pennsylvania, which translates to extraordinary economic impacts for our region.”
