Legion Riders Raise Money for the Pets for U.S. Vets Program

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Fox and Hound run on Saturday.The Legion Riders of Claysville once again showed support for their community. With the DogParty coming up on Oct. 6, the Claysville American Legion got a jump start and raised funds for the party a week early! All of the proceeds go into 84 Fitness Center's Veterans Fund at the Washington Area Humane Society which waives adoption fees there for our local veterans. Spread the word! Let's see how many animals we can get adopted through this program.

The little Shih-Tzu on my lap is Hudson. He was adopted to a veteran and his wife from last year's DogParty and will be signing autographs at the Furry Fall Festival on Saturday!

Hudson is one lucky dog and his people feel that they are the lucky ones. Help us make more stories like this come true.
