Veterans Adopt at no Charge at the Washington Area Humane Society

84 Fitness Centers' Veterans Fund at the Washington Area Humane Society takes care of the adoption fee for our local veterans. So, if you are a veteran or know a veteran that is ready to adopt a dog or cat, we've taken care of the tab.

Please check out those waiting as they are already spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and socialized...the only thing missing is your love.

With the cold weather coming, it is the perfect time to get someone out of the shelter cages and into a warm, loving home. Although the shelter caretakers are friendly and loving to all of the animals, it's not the same as being loved by a family and being out of the cages. Please spread the word so many hearts can be healed.
