Peters Township Native Chosen As One of Pittsburgh's '50 Finest' Hosting Gala

Honoree Ashlee Olivo has cordially invited members of the Peters Township and McMurray community to take part in a glitzy evening of fundraising.

A Peters Township native was chosen as one of Pittsburgh's 50 Finest for 2013—and is seeking community support for a gala she is throwing to beneft the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania.

Honoree Ashlee Olivo has cordially invited members of the Peters Township and McMurray community to take part in a glitzy evening of fundraising for the foundation that begins at 7:30 pm Friday, Aug. 9.

"Enjoy a night in the roaring '20s speakeasy casino complete with blackjack, roulette, poker, professional dealers and authentic gaming tables by Elite Casino events," event organizers promise.

H'ordeuvres will be provided by Canonsburg's own Bella Sera Catering, and there will also be cocktails, dancing, and live music by Rick Clark Entertainment.

The speakeasy atmosphere wouldn't be complete without a little magic, courtesy of Lee Terbosic, professional comedy magician.

Those planning to attend the event, which has been dubbed "The Gatsby Gala," should plan costume or elegant dress.
