Bado's Cucina
724-942-3904
After Chef Sam Badolato visited the Calabria region of Italy, he was inspired to bring an authentic wood-fired cuisine restaurant to Pittsburgh. Bado's Cucina provides a menu of traditional Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients, including pizza, pasta, tapas and salads. The intimate dining room at Bado's looks over the wood-fired oven, so you can watch your meal as it cooks. I was so excited to be trying the Chefs Tasting menu on a Sat night with my friends as I read the great review with the Top 25 in Pittsburgh magazine, I found the tasting menu to be good but not top 25 in the city! We were disappointed with the food.
