Located on Valley Brook Road in McMurray, Farmhouse Coffee is located in a historic home from the early 1900s, with large rooms and a wrap around porch.
This specialty coffee shop serves gourmet coffee from all regions and features pastries, tea, lattes and fruit smoothies on their menu.
Inside you will find a fireplace with a sofa, and several tables to sit and enjoy your visit. There are books readily available and the site offers Wi-Fi.
If you prefer to sit outside, there is seating available on the porch or in the gazebo located in the garden. Meeting rooms are available for those who wish to host an event.
The coffeehouse's winter hours are: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Sunday.

I agree with Renee Butor. Excellent, I personally do not like the taste of coffee... but I need caffeine. Their Raspberry Truffle is delicious, so is the "Marco Machiato" - a custom chocolate ice-cream + espresso concoction that the staff made for me! They also have a frequent buyer card, so after something like 5 visits you get your next coffee free! Love it! Next door is also my favorite quick bite restaurant (My Big Fat Greek Gyro) so it is very convenient. Also it is on the bike trail and there is a nice outdoor garden with small ponds and a gazebo. On some Fridays in the summer you can even listen to live music being played outside.
I did not think Farmhouse coffee could get any better, but now they have WiFi. That is awesome! Of course they have wonderful beverages beyond reproach, but also that wonderful Chicken salad, 'The Walter'! It is just the best. It is a little piece of heavenly relaxation and friendship at Farmhouse! Thanks for the update Mrs. Martin!
