The Mexican restaurant was open for business on Monday.
There is a new Chipotle Mexican Grill open for business in Upper St. Clair. The first day of business was Monday, Jan. 22. The restuarant joins Norman Centre on Washington Road in the former Pearl Vision store. In September, commissioners approved the addition of 22 more parking spots to accomodate the restaurant. The restaurant's address is 1720 Washington Rd. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

A popular Mexican gourmet food chain soon-to-open in the 3800 block of Washington Road is now hiring. Chipotle Mexican Grill in Peters Township is seeking kitchen managers, service managers and restaurant team members to run its new McMurray location. Today, a job fair open house is being held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. nearby at the new Chipotle restaurant on Cochran Road in Scott Township. Peters Township Planning Director Ed Zuk said Monday a building permit has been approved.
Many Peters Township residents have been asking about a popular Mexican food chain and when it's moving into the community. Peters Township Planning Director Ed Zuk said Monday a building permit for Chipotle Mexican Grill in the 3800 block of Washington Road has been approved. He confirmed in January that the restaurant would be the second tenant in the new building—along with MedExpress. Zuk said the 2,400 square-foot grill will be constructed soon. Peters Township Planning Director Ed Zuk confirmed the information Thursday.
Having become somewhat of a medical mecca, Peters Township welcomes its newest medical center, MedExpress. The fully-staffed center will be located in the newly-constructed building at the corner of Route 19 and W. McMurray Road—the 3800 block of Washington Road, next to the new PNC Bank. It will be open 12 hours a day, seven days a week—9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Peters Township Planning Director Ed Zuk confirmed the 4,500 square-foot medical center will open in late January. He also confirmed Chipotle Mexican Grill will be a second tenant. Zuk said the 2,400 square-foot restaurant will "probably open this spring."
