The Peters Township varsity dance team will have their national championship routine broadcasted on ESPN this weekend. The girls competed at the UDA Dance Nationals in Florida in February and won first place out of 64 teams in the small varsity hip-hop division. Here's the TV schedule, according to the dance team booster club: Sunday, March 10 - 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on ESPNU Sunday, March 17 - 1:30 to 2 p.m. on ESPN2 Sunday, April 7 - 11:30am to 12 p.m. on ESPN2 Sunday, April 14 - 1 to 2 p.m. on ESPN2

The school board recognized the high school's dance team on Monday night.
The Peters Township School Board recognized the Peters Township High School's varsity dance team Monday night for their first place finish at the National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, FL. The competition will air on ESPN U on March 10 at 10 a.m., according to coach Barb Deliere. "This is a very hardworking group of girls," coach Nique Shuster said. "They deserved it (the national title)." Varsity team members are Jess Joseph; Carla Buzzatto; Lexi Uhler; Lyss Townsend; Maddie Williams; Megan Amelio; Savanna Schweizer; Val Mikec; Sydney Scott; Erika Miller; Robyn Bisignani; Sam Abraham; Natalie Leven; and Kylie Pollack.

The varsity and JV teams recently competed in Orlando, FL.
The Peters Township High School varsity dance team is celebrating a big win. The squad earned the No. 1 ranking in the nation in the small varsity hip hop division at the National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, FL. They cometed against 63 other teams. The JV team also did well at the national competition—finishing first in the preliminary round and second in the overall competition. The varsity and JV dance teams did well at the Americheer/Ameridance PNC Park competition.
The Peters Township High School varsity and junior varsity dance teams are celebrating success from last week's Americheer/Ameridance PNC Park competition. The JV Team took first place in their division, as well as earning the high score for the junior division—beating out 11 other teams for the honor. The varsity team won not only the varsity division, but also had the high point score for the senior division—beating out 10 other teams for the amazing win. In addition, they won the title of "Grand Champion in Dance" against 22 other teams in the dance division.
