Richard N. "Dick" Toci, 62, of Eighty Four, suddenly on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Beloved husband of Madeline (Chapman) Toci; loving father of Anthony "Tony" (Jennifer) Toci and Matthew John Toci; grandfather of Bishop, Caleb and Miya Toci; brother of Angelo James (Donna) Toci, Jr., Catherine (Robert) O'Connor, Ester (Ronald) Markwood and Florence (Tom) Moran. Dick retired in 2006 after 35 years of service in the mines. He enjoyed camping, boating, RVing and—most of all—spending time with his family. Funeral arrangements by Beinhauer Family Services. Friends are welcome at 2828 Washington Road in McMurray (724-941-3211) on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services are private. He will be buried in Forest Lawn Gardens …

Multiple accidents have been reported.
According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, multiple accidents have been reported on I-79, including a tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes near the Houston exit. Jonathan and Brandy Vlasic have always had a passion for restoring old buildings. They own the historic Alla Famiglia restaurant on Mt. Washington, and purchased a historic farm house in Eighty Four, which has been a work in progress. When Jonathan and Brandy heard that the former Classroom Restaurant in Peters Township was available, there was little question in their minds what their next project would be. “It was appealing to me because it was this 100-plus-year-old schoolhouse,” Jonathan said. “Alla Famiglia is 130 years old, and we live in a 220-year-old farm house. Meet Dodger! Here is what the Washington Area Humane Society has to say about him: Originally adopted from the Washington Area Humane Society in 2008, his former owners had a baby and could no longer afford to keep him. He is a 10-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix, and a true sweetheart. He appears to be housebroken, and although he has some skin problems that are currently being treated, they do not seem to bother him.
