'Idol' Adam Brock Has a Hot Diggity Dog Day

Former 'American Idol' contestant Adam Brock covered Perry Como's 'Mambo,' and sang 'Happy Birthday' directly to Como's statue in Canonsburg to celebrate the crooner's 100th birthday.

The two-day, 100th birthday party for Perry Como, Hot Diggity Dog Days, ended with a bang as former "American Idol" contestant and Washington County native Adam Brock and his band rocked out with a variety of songs for the celebration. Brock was one of the many highlights at Hot Diggity Days in Canonsburg. Perry Como fans came from far and wide to celebrate the centennial of the crooner's birth. The former idol opened with Aretha Franklin's "Think," energizing his crowd as he belted it out. He followed with one of Como's hits, "Mambo," which got the crowd dancing. He covered Celo Green's "Forget You," the G-rated version. Brock sang "Happy Birthday" to Como. He directed the audience to sing to Como's statue, which was festooned in his …
