Local Clubs Get Dirty to Fix Up Barn, Help Kids

The McMurray Rotary Club and Peters Township High School Interact Club are helping a non-profit that provides riding lessons for children with disabilities.

The McMurray Rotary Club and Peters Township High School InterAct Club got down and dirty Sunday to fix up a local barn. The barn is home to InStride Therapeutic Riding—a non-profit that provides riding lessons for children with disabilities. The club members are tearing out a cement floor in two rooms of the barn—digging up dirt, clay, stones and more—to prepare for the pouring of a new concrete floor. The members plan to return to the barn to finish the job in the near future.
