Ardolino's Pizza to Serve Beer, Liquor

The Boyce Road pizzeria must get final approval from the Liquor Control Board.

Upper St. Clair commissioners approved the transfer of a liquor license to Ardolino's Pizza on Boyce Road. The vote was 7-0 on Monday night. Rodney Ardolino, owner of the Italian eatery, plans on selling beer and possibly some liquor. Customers will be able to purchase alcohol while eating in the restaurant. Six-packs will also be available for purchase. No alcohol will be delivered. Ardolino must receive final approval from the Liquor Control Board, which may take an estimated six to eight weeks. Ardolino is also asking the township permission to build a new restaurant behind the current Ardolino's Pizza building. The public hearing on the matter will continue at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 2 at the Community and Recreation Center at Boyce…
