Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Remember that most government offices are closed today.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Peters Township. Remember that most government offices are closed today—as is Peters Township School District. This means that all state Department of Transportation driver license and photo centers—including its full-service center in Harrisburg—will be closed in observance of the holiday. We hope you take some time today to reflect on the contributions made by King. Editor's Note: Here is one of my favorite MLK quotes: "Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase." Do you have one? Tell us in the comments section below.
