President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden were re-elected Tuesday night, defeating Republican challenger and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and his vice-presidential running mate Rep. Paul Ryan. NBC News called the presidential election for Obama around 11:15 p.m. EST. The president sent a message on Twitter at 10:14 saying simply, "This happened because of you. Thank you." The 2012 race for the White House is coming to Moon. GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will appear Saturday in Moon Township for a campaign rally. Billy Pitman, spokesman for the Republican National Committee, confirmed that the event will begin at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Atlantic Aviation hangar at 300 Horizon Drive in Moon, just outside Pittsburgh International Airport. Doors open at 8:15. All attendees at the event will go through airport-like security before being admitted. Cameras are allowed, but attendees are asked to not bring sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs, according to the announcement. Ryan as vice presidential nominee will help galvanize Republican voters in the Keystone State, according to more than two-thirds of respondents.
