Liquor License Transferred to Center Plate Café

Peters Township has transferred an existing liquor license to the new Center Plate Café restaurant.

Peters Township has transferred a liquor license to the new Center Plate Café restaurant. Council during its Monday night reorganization meeting agreed to transfer the existing liquor license from the defunct Sinatra's Trattoria & Pizza restaurant previously at the Center Church Road location. Center Plate, which is owned by Penny Folino and her boyfriend, Lenny Radziewicz, opened in October after customers were disappointed about the closure of Penny’s Diner on Route 19 McMurray. Customers previously were allowed to bring their own beer to the restaurant. Follow us on Twitter | Like us on Facebook Folino said the restaurant offers a “café bistro, Greek-style” taste. The restaurant is situated in an old, remodeled house where diners can …

Aladdin’s Restaurant Coming to McMurray

Aladdin's Eatery, a Lebanese/American restaurant chain, is moving into the former Penny’s Diner location along Route 19.

Aladdin’s Eatery will be opening in McMurray soon. The Lebanese/American restaurant chain is moving into the former Penny’s Diner location along Route 19. A large banner across the storefront announces that the new restaurant is “Coming Soon!” Aladdin’s full menu is also posted on the door for customers to view before it opens. The restaurant could be opening as soon as February, although company officials did not return phone message seeking comment on the expansion. Officials at Walnut Capital, which manages the storefronts across from Kmart, could not comment on when the restaurant will open. There are nearly 30 Aladdin’s restaurants across the country, with the closest to this area along Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon. For more …

I absolutely LOVE Aladdin's. I have been taking my kids to the Mt. Lebanon location since I discovered it about a year ago. I loved it so much that I put it on the Happy Cow app. The restaurant has a huge menu to please both the carnivores and the vegans and vegetarians in the family. The restaurant uses fresh wholesome ingredients and the food is light and delicious. I am so glad to see a …   more ›

This article is completely unnecessary and will protect no child. Instead it will serve to harass law abiding citizens who have paid their debt to society and been rehabilitated. Why do I say that? Because there are NO reported cases in the entire state of any child being assaulted while trick or treating! Miss Penny's Diner? Then Visit Center Plate!

Lenny Radziewicz and Penny Folino's new restaurant is now open for business at 94 Center Church Road.

Since Penny’s Diner closed its doors, manager Penny Folino said she’s been inundated with emails from customers asking when she’d be bringing her culinary expertise back to the McMurray area. They missed the diner atmosphere, Folino said. The wait is now over for those customers because Folino and her boyfriend, Lenny Radziewicz, have opened a new restaurant called Center Plate—located at 94 Center Church Rd. The eatery has been open for just six days, but Folino said it has debuted to “rave reviews.” Radziewicz owns the establishment and Folino is the manager—and brings her years of cooking skills to the spot, which she describes as a “café bistro, Greek-style restaurant.” Open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m…

Peters' Pride Conducive for Growing Ad Company

InLineAdz plans to hire 50 sales people in the Greater Pittsburgh area alone.

For less than a cup of coffee a day, businesses can join the InLineAdz network, said John Hancherick, co-owner and vice president of sales. Hancherick has been a Peters resident for 22 years. The branding-centered company is an opportunity for local businesses to increase their business activity, promote their brand and attract more local customers, according to Hancherick. The form of passive branding and advertising is via a 32”-40” flat screen TV—silent, and placed in high-foot traffic businesses where people “wait for service.” The strategy, coupled with the company’s fully-customizable software, allows InLineAdz to have total control over the content, the frequency of rotation, remote access and the ability to import live feeds of …
