The Peters Township Junior Football Association received approval to expand its press box and storage building at Hofbauer Field. The expansion will cost the association close to $25,000.
The Peters Township Junior Football Association received approval to expand its press box and storage building at Hofbauer Field. Peters Township Council during its Monday night voting meeting unanimously approved the construction of an additional field box building to the existing press box. The new two-story building would have 240-square feet of space for storage on the ground floor and the same amount of space in the press box. The two buildings would be connected by an existing walkway on the second floor. The junior football association would pay for construction of the estimated $25,000 building, although the township would own the structure and maintain it.
