The Peters Township Public Library and the Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters are hosting an amateur photography contest this month. The contest is open to all amateur photographers to participate in three different categories—photographs of people, landscapes, or animals. The first-place prize in each category will be $25; the second-place prize will be $10, and third-place prize will be a certificate. All winners will receive a 2013-14 membership to the Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club, which meets monthly at the library. But remember: The Deadline for entries is Thursday, April 25.
