That’s why she not only is participating in the Tips for Tots event (scheduled at the McMurray location from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow—Wednesday), but she will also spend time in jail for it. On Thursday, students at Bower Hill Elementary took part in their annual holiday sing-a-long. The students sang holiday songs and were treated to a quick visit from Santa before he headed back to the North Pole for final Christmas preparations. Included among the songs was a special rendition of "Silent Night"—the students learned the song in sign language this year from music teachers Bob Tupper and Barb Viola. The sing-a-long ended with a Bower Hill tradition—the “12 Days of Christmas." Students sang while teachers and staff acted out the song. A special guest—lead singer Scott Blasey of The Clarks (and a Bower Hill parent)—took on the starring role of the partridge in a pear tree.
