New Hearing Planned For Crematory Ordinance
An overflowing crowd attended the last hearing.
Peters Township Council will hold a public hearing on the zoning ordinance amendment to regulate crematories as a conditional use in the light industrial zoning district at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 21. The Almanac reports that the council reached a consensus that the hearing will end no later than 9 p.m. and that residents wishing to speak must register prior to the meeting. This is exactly what our staff and council need to be spending time on. Our Twp. should have put this to a vote like the gas drilling haters. Good politics makes for bad planning ! more ›
