Peters Township Allows St. Benedict to Display Fish Fry Signs

Peters Township officials and St. Benedict the Abbot have reached an agreement to allow the Catholic church to post several Lenten Fish Fry signs around the community.

Peters Township officials and St. Benedict the Abbot have reached an agreement to allow the Catholic church to post several Lenten Fish Fry signs around the community. The council agreed during its Monday night meeting to allow the church to put banner signs on the township’s two trail bridges, Friar Lane and at the corner of Route 19 and Valleybrook Road. Township officials had issued their concerns last month about St. Benedict’s plans to place as many as 10 Fish Fry signs around the community. Parishioners may also place small signs in their yards if they wish. Click here to find out what time St. Benedict is holding its Fish Fry each Friday!
