Sixth Annual Soup and Stroll Scheduled at Wright House

The Peters Creek Historical Society will greet visitors with homemade food, decorations and re-enactors on Sunday afternoon.

The sixth annual Soup and Stroll will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. The Peters Creek Historical Society is hosting the event at the Enoch Wright House and Museum of Westward Expansion, 815 Venetia Rd., Peters Township. Featured along with homemade soups, breads and desserts will be numerous activities that evoke Christmases past. In the 18th-century log house on the Wright House property, professional re-enactors will prepare authentic Colonial foods for sampling, including hunter’s stew, soft cheeses, homemade hearth breads and period libations.
