Winter Storm Warning Goes Into Effect Friday Night

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for a wintery mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow, going into effect at 7 p.m. and ending at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Peters Township area is supposed to see snow, freezing rain and sleet before 3 a.m. Saturday, and sleet after 5 a.m. The low will hover near 25 degrees. One to 2 inches of overnight snow is expected.
